Within the EU
Due to additional restrictions posed upon shipping outside of the UK after Brexit, we no longer ship to commercial customers outside of Mainland UK, UK Highlands and Islands. UK Highlands and Islands includes Northern Ireland, Isle Of Wight, Scottish Highlands, Scottish Isles, Channel Islands, Isle of Jersey and Isle of Scilly. Unfortunately shipping to Southern Ireland is no longer possible. There is alternatively the option of us delivering to an address within these areas of your specification, and you then arranging delivery from there to your overseas address afterwards. If you are overseas and have a business related enquiry, feel free to contact us at email@example.com and we will advise on the possibility of shipping to you.
US / Rest of the World:
Please do not try to force through an order to a country that we do not ship to by specifying UK as the country. Your order will be refunded and the goods will not be dispatched unless you have paid the right postage for the destination.
Once made / packed, most products are dispatched on a next working day courier service. The couriers we use vary by product and sometimes they deliver at the weekends and in the evenings. Excessively Large or Heavy Mats, Offshore and Highlands and Islands addresses may be subject to a surcharge. If this is the case Coir Mats will contact you with a postage quotation prior to production and dispatch. If you are not happy with the quotation there will be no obligation to proceed with your order.
How to ensure a Smooth & Efficient Delivery:
Orders sent by courier will usually require a signature upon delivery. Please ensure that there is someone available to take receipt of the parcel, otherwise a card will be issued and you will need re-arrange delivery with the courier or to collect from your local delivery office. If you have a safe place to leave the parcel please include this in the comments box at checkout and provide a mobile number we can give to the courier to give the best chance of your parcel being delivered first time. We will dispatch your order using the specified service but unfortunately we cannot accept liability where Royal Mail or other courier services fail to uphold their promised delivery times.
We dispatch goods Monday to Friday using your chosen Delivery Method. All orders placed on Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays will be dealt with the next working day and dispatched when ready using your chosen Delivery Method.
Time to dispatch varies by product. Cut to size and readymade standard sized mats are usually able to be dispatched within 24-48 hours of placing your order. Hand stitched mats take around 6 weeks from order and hand printed mats take around 7 days from order as we need to allow time for the ink to dry before dispatch. If you need a custom made mat urgently please contact us prior to ordering. We will always do our best to accommodate your request and the best way to help us do this is to let us know as early as possible that the mat is required urgently.
For security reasons, courier deliveries require a signature. If you are unlikely to be at your delivery address during normal working hours please provide an alternative delivery address where someone will be able to sign for your parcel.
If no one is available to sign for your parcel, you should receive a card explaining how to collect it or re-arrange delivery. It is your responsibility to collect the parcel within the time frame mentioned on the card. If you do not collect your parcel in time the parcel will be returned to us. You will need to contact us to arrange re-delivery and pay for the extra costs incurred in re-sending the parcel.
Please check carefully when placing your order and be sure that you are happy that you have completed the billing and delivery addresses correctly and in full. We will dispatch to the address that you specify as the delivery address. If you have an account and have placed orders before please double check that the current order is going to an up to date address. If as a result of an incorrectly input or incomplete address your parcel is returned to us, you will be responsible for paying the cost of sending it out again.
Lost in Post:
The delivery service we use does not consider a parcel lost until it has been in the UK postal system for a period of 14 working days and 21 days for International orders. Although it is highly unlikely for deliveries to take this amount of time, we are unable to despatch a replacement until this period of time has elapsed. You will be asked to complete a lost parcel form prior to us re-dispatching your order. Please contact us if you are concerned and we will do all we can to help you.
